Expansion of Marketing Sony Xperia Play


Sony Ericsson Xperia Play also commonly known as the Playstation Phone finally launched globally. Gingerbread Android-based handset is targeting various countries in Europe and Asia.

Quoted from PCMag, Saturday (04/02/2011), Xperia Play now been marketed in the UK, Germany, Netherlands, Austria, Switzerland, Sweden, Norway, Denmark, Russia, Hong Kong, and Taiwan. Then later visited Spain, France, Finland, Singapore, India and Portugal.

In the UK, marketing Xperia Play was delayed because the operator Vodafone still test the ability of the software, but other sellers are ready to market at a price around 480 pound sterling, or approximately USD 6.7 million without a contract from the operator.

Xperia Play was launched with 60 games available from various providers such as Sony Computer Entertainment to Electronics Arts, and will continue to be added in the future. There are free games like Asphalt 5 and pre installed Chrash Bandicoot.

Such original PlayStation game Jumping Jack Flash, MediEvil, and Destruction Derby is also available. Other games include Assasins Creed Altair's Chronicles HD, Tom Clancy's Splinter Cell and Need for Speed. All games can be downloaded via the launcher Xperia Play, an application that activated when the game pad in the handset removed.

Smartphones are armed with 1GHz Snapdragon processor and graphics processor 205 Adreno that reportedly optimized for playing games. Worth tested whether the right to play games on this phone as good as claimed Sony Ericsson. Xperia Play itself pledged presence in Indonesia, perhaps not too distant future.
